“Metamorphosis” Metamorphosis – i.e. the change of appearance and personality – has always enchanted human imagination and strongly influenced public creativity and thought. From figurative arts to literature and philosophy metamorphosis may take on diverging values that are full of pregnant significance and symbolisms, aimed at identifying the fragility and the inadequacy of the human condition, which is even more insignificant as opposed to the uncontrollable and sometimes inexplicable power of nature that surrounds and accompanies human life.
